Nos conocemos, tenemos una conversación amena y echamos un polvo. Me dices que nos podemos ver la semana siguiente y me parece genial. Intento tres semanas quedar pero parece que tus horarios son incompatibles e inamovibles y siempre acabas con una promesa certera que la siguiente semana será la semana, con lo que no vuelvo a intentarlo una cuarta semana.

Unos meses después, encuentro tu WhatsApp perdido y te escribo preguntando qué tal estás después de tu desaparición... y la conversación genera ciertos comentarios y degenera en la demostración de, según tú, mi total inmadurez.Así que con mi falta de madurez recogí tu magistralidad acerca del buen hacer y ante todo el buen decir, y aprendo contigo pinceladas de semántica moderna donde me enseñas que un “nos vemos la semana que viene” se ha convertido en “ya nos veremos”. Además la infinita sabiduría de tus clases de interpretación, me han servido para comprender por mí mismo las derivaciones del lenguaje ya que “ya nos veremos” es realmente “no nos veremos”.Agradecido, espero madurar próximamente gracias a ti.

We meet, we have a casual conversation, and we fuck. You tell me we could see each other the following week and I think that’s great. I try to meet up with you for three weeks, but it seems your schedule is incompatible and fixed. You always end up promising that the following week will be the one, so I stop trying on week four.

The conversation triggers certain comments and ends up in me showing my absolute immaturity, according to your very own perception of things.So together with my lack of maturity, I took in your masterful know-how and your gift for words and I learn brush-strokes of modern semantics where you teach me that “I’ll see you next week” has converted into “I’ll see you around”.Additionally, the endless wisdom of your acting skills has helped me understand the branches of language, since “I’ll see you around” actually means “we won’t see each other ever again”.Grateful, I hope I’ll mature thanks to you in the near future.
