Cabe decir que este baño nos lo dimos en el mismo río en el que horas antes habíamos descendido en canoa y habíamos estado viendo cocodrilos, pero según la gente de la zona no nos teníamos que preocupar puesto que no muerden ya que comen pescado, jejeje … Aprovechamos la hora en la que todos los elefantes que cuidan se dan su baño. Nos subimos en uno de ellos y comienza el juego, duchas constantes con la trompa, caídas hacia un lado, caídas hacia el otro … Realmente algo imprescindible si viajas a esta región de Nepal.1. Desde Bangkok subimos en un tren nocturno hasta Chian Mai, y tras pasar una noche en un albergue de la ciudad, emprendimos nuestra aventura de cuatro días en la selva del norte del país. Durante el día andamos por todo tipo de terrenos, nos llovió como nunca (estábamos en época de monzón), aprendimos a vivir con lo mínimo, como los indígenas del lugar. Dormimos en cabañas de poblados, hechas de bambú, hojas y paja, tirados en el suelo y protegidos con mosquiteras. Las cenas eran a la luz de la luna, con velas en vez de bombillas y en ocasiones con una dulce melodía proveniente de instrumentos tocados por los indígenas. Maravillosa experiencia.

Viajamos desde Pekin en "autobús" (reventamos una rueda en el camino …) hasta una zona no turística para realizar un treking por la muralla en su estado más original. Fue duro, muy duro … la muralla no es lisa, son escaleras hacia arriba y escaleras hacia abajo constantemente … Las vistas increíbles, a un lado China, al otro Mongolia.
