El pequeño idolillo de los bazares, el Maneki Neko japonés (Zhaocai Mao en chino) o “gato que llama” aparece aquí para llamar a la primavera, que acaba de llegar juuuuuuuuuuuusto en este momento…

La tradición de estos gatos es muy curiosa (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maneki-neko). El caso es que la gente necesita creer en rituales que hagan que todo vaya bien, como los gatos que atraen clientes al comercio, así que si al menos son simpáticos mejor que mejor. Y nada de zurrarse porque mi gato de plástico rojo trae visitantes más ricos que tu gato de plástico amarillo y es El Único Gato Verdadero.

Nada, colgamos aquí el rechoncho gato sonriente y si hace que lleguemos al millón de euros en ventas nos lo empezamos a tomar en serio.

Ther is a pretty curious tradition regarding these cats (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maneki-neko). I think the relevant matter here is people’s need for believing in good luck charms, idols, rituals… like these cats that attract customers to the shop, so, at least let’s have funny idols. And let’s not argue about my red plastic cat bringing wealthier customers to the shop than your yellow plastic cat and being The Only Real Cat.

So, let’s post here the smiling chubby cat and if we reach one million euros in sales we will begin to take it seriously.
