Brisban Park(ing) day on 16 September 2011

How to PARK

1. MAKE or find a team
You need 2-4 people to easily PARK.  Friends, family, and workplaces make great teams.
Join a local cluster to organise spaces with other teams in your neighbourhood.  In 2008, clusters occurred in West End, Valley, UQ and Southbank
2. CREATE a theme and design idea
PARK(ing) spot can be transformed into almost anything!!  Make people stop and enjoy your space.  It should be fun and positive, and remember the original idea is also to educate, engage and inspire about important urban issues.   Consider the themes in the BCC “Living in Brisbane 2026 Vision” and the type of city you dream of.
3. CHOOSE a location
PARKs can happen on-street, off-street, in private car parks, public car parks, and even multi-level parking.
See below for more information.
4. REGISTER!
Register with us, so that we can map and promote your PARK to visitors.
5. PARK on the day

6. SHARE the results, and VOTE for your favourite Brisbane PARKs
