El bodegón que no sabía si subir o bajar la escalera / The small still life that didn’t know whether to go upstairs or downstairs

Lo más normal cuando se pinta un bodegón es disponer los elementos de forma que queden bien en el cuadro. Por eso me pareció lo más lógico un bodegón oscuro, lleno de sombras, con unos aburridos pimientos y berenjenas y todo ello en el exterior, con sus restos de lluvia y todo. Además el punto de vista es tirando a rarito. Y lo raro es que queda bien, con un aire surrealista rural que me parece interesante.

Usually, when painting a still life, the elements must be arranged in a way to make them look beautiful in the painting so, the most logical step was preparing a dark still life, full of shadows and using some boring peppers and aubergines as the center of interest. All of it placed outdoors, with rain pools and all and, besides, with a weird point of view. However, surprisingly it kid of works properly, in a surrealistic rural look that I find quite interesting.
