Parece que Google castiga a los Argentinos via @miguelthepooh

Buenos dias (o lo que sea)

Estoy suscrito a muchos espacios que divulgan sobre tecnología y uno de ellos es Infosertec... Gente especializada en programación, software libre y apps muy ubicados en la región Argentina.

El caso es que siguen muy de cerca las relaciones con otros paises y Argentina en un buen productor de software en todos los sentidos, con una muy gran comunidad de desarrolladores y colaboraciones con muchas de las universidades iberoamericanas y españolas.

El comunicado que reciben en realidad no se tiene que ver con una guerra financiera entre USA y Argentina o simplemente de Google con el estado albiceleste…

Espero que simplemente tenga que ver con una cuestión técnica o de firma de acuerdos, por que si no sería una importante bofetada para una comunidad muy productiva.

Hace un rato vía tweet nos enterábamos de que de buenas a primeras los desarrolladores de Argentina; que tengan apps pagas en Google PLay; van a tener que bajarlas. Y que solo desde podrán subir aplicaciones gratuitas.

Es decir Google corto el pago a los desarrolladores Argentinos!!!. Y esto esta siendo confirmado por los mismos developers, quienes están recibiendo un mail de Google.

We are writing to you today to inform you that Google Play will no longer be able to accept payments on behalf of developers registered in Argentina starting June 27, 2013. Developers based in Argentina may continue to offer free applications in the Google Play store. All applications requiring the billing permission as well as in-app products will be unpublished from the Google Play store on June 27, 2013.  A payout for your earnings through this time will be made on July 22, 2013. If your accumulated earnings at that time do not meet the payout threshold, you may close your linked AdSense account to receive a final payment.

If you are legally able to do business in one of the other supported countries and otherwise satisfy the Google Wallet Terms of Service for that country, you may register for a Google Wallet Merchant Center account in that country and transfer your applications to it. To review the Google Wallet Merchant Center account Terms of Service, go to this link:
