Calendario de festivos para au pairs

¡Hola, hola! ¡Espero que hayáis empezado la semana muy bien! Hoy os traigo un calendario de festivos y post para au pairs. Un post especial que se me ocurrió este fin de semana y no podía dejar para más adelante.  No sé si os habréis preguntado alguna vez acerca de este tema durante vuestra experiencia au pair o antes de viajar, pero estuve pensando y me pareció una herramienta útil para consultar. El calendario se ve así. He puesto un enlace permanente en la barra rosa superior del blog para que podáis consultarlo fácilmente todas las veces que queráis. ¿Qué os parece? 
Hello! I hope you have started the week well! Today I bring you a Holiday and my blog's post calendar for au pairs. It is a special post I came up this weekend and I could not leave for later. I don't know if you will ever have wondered about this issue during your au pair experience or before you travel to your host country, but I was thinking about it and I found it could be a useful tool to check. The calendar looks like this. I have made a permanent link on the pink bar above the blog, so you can easily see the calendar every time you want. What do you think?

1. Podrás consultar los festivos principales de países como Estados Unidos, Inglaterra, Irlanda, Canadá, Australia o España.
   You will be able to see the major holidays in some countries like USA, England, Ireland, Canada, Australia and Spain.
2. En consecuencia, podrás planificarte tus viajes si tienes fiesta esos días o preguntar por adelantado no vas a tener que trabajar para poder planear tu día libre. 
   Consequently, you will be able to plan your holiday trip if you have free time those days, or you will be able to ask your host family in advance if you will not have to work in order to plan your free day.
3. Con varios calendarios activos que tú elijas podrás saber qué días son festivos en tu país de origen en comparación con los del país en el que vives ahora o en el que vas a vivir, descubrir nuevos festivos y saber cómo se celebran o prepararte para disfrutarlas con tiempo. 
   With several active calendars that you choose you will know which days are holidays in your home country and you could compare them to the country where you live now or you will live soon. Also, you will be able to find festivities you did not know before and discover how get ready to celebrate them.
4. Y además, podrás adelantarte a la temática de los post de la semana siguiente en el blog. Y, por supuesto, si se te ocurren ideas de las que te gustaría que se hablase, puedes mandarme un mensaje con tus propuestas.

Te sigo contando cómo funciona el calendario. Al entrar en la página del calendario, veréis esta leyenda.

Como veis, cada país tiene un color, así que los festivos respectivos aparecerán remarcados de ese color. Cada color es distinto para hacer más fácil la visualización de los calendarios en caso de que queráis tener activo más de uno. Por otro lado, siempre en color naranja, aparecerá la temática de cada uno de los post de la semana siguiente que actualizaré cada domingo. Veréis algo así.
As you can see, each country has a color, so each country Holiday will appear highlighted in that color. Each color is different to make the calendars easy for you to display in case you want to have more than one calendar active at the same time. On the other hand, always in orange color, you will be able to see the topic of each post I will share with you the following week (that I will update every Sunday). You will see something like this.
¡Os cuento dos detalles más antes de terminar! Uno es que podéis imprimir el calendario del mes que queráis. ¿Cómo? En la parte superior derecha encontrarás el símbolo 'print'. Clicando en la impresora, ¡podrás imprimir el calendario del mes en el que estés!
I am gonna tell you two more details! First, you can print any monthly calendar you want. You will find a print symbol in the top right of the calendar page. If you click 'print' you will be able to print the current calendar you are in!
El segundo detalle es que puedes eliminar los calendarios que no quieras visualizar. ¿Cómo? En la parte superior derecha y al lado del símbolo 'print' encontrarás una flechita azul. Clica en ella y se abrirá un listado con todos los calendarios disponibles. Selecciona el o los calendarios que quieras visualizar, ¡y listo! 
Second, you can delete the calendars you don't wanna display. How you can do it? You will find a in the top right next to the 'print' symbol a blue arrow. Click on it and the available calendar list will automatically open. Then you can select the calendar or calendars you want to display, and done!
