Bodas diferentes – Charles & Nadine

Bodas diferentes con Nadine & Charles.

Última boda de la temporada la protagonizada por Charles y Nadine, realizada en una época del año que me encanta para las celebraciones, Navidad.

El hecho de ser una boda en Gibraltar muy navideña era sólo uno de los  muchos alicientes por la que enmarco este acontecimiento como bodas diferentes. Tuvo muchos atractivos que hiciera que se convirtiera en una boda para recordar durante mucho tiempo, como celebrarse íntegramente en la cercana Gibraltar,  ser una boda militar ,  ser su ceremonia en la Catedral de Santa María La Coronada o tener la oportunidad única de realizar la sesión fotográfica en The Convent,  la casa del Gobernador de Gibraltar, algo inusual en una boda.

Tengo que agradecer de corazón el sacrificio que tuvo que hacer mi compañero, fotógrafo  y buen amigo Javier Alzahira en desplazarse desde Cordoba para  acompañarnos durante la boda, estuvo genial.

Empezamos la mañana fotografiando a Charles en los aposentos desde donde saldría hacia la catedral, pasamos un rato genial, se nota el arraigo militar que tienen, por lo que el orden y la limpieza se notaba a simple vista. Partimos seguidamente a casa de la familia de Nadine, la pobre estaba hecho un manojo de nervios, jejeje…se notaba que estaba impaciente porque llegara la hora de la ceremonia, la cual tuvo una celebración impecable y espectacular, con un coro que hizo las maravillas de los asistentes. La salida fue totalmente al estilo militar, saliendo los novios por un túnel de sables que junto a las flores lanzadas dieron una imagen espectacular, me encanta estas salidas. Después de la sesión en Casa del Gobernador nos desplazamos al Club de Oficiales de Gibraltar que es donde tendría lugar la celebración, el local estaba a la altura de los acontecimientos, simplemente espectacular.Todo el coctel y la cena estuvo maravillosamente acompañado de un trío  musical que no paró en toda la noche de sonar, geniales, calidad por los cuatro costados.

Agradecer de corazón de Nadine y Charles la oportunidad que me brindó de poder estar en un día tan importante en sus vidas, les deseo lo mejor. Gracias.

Last wedding of the season starring Charles and Nadine, was celebrated in a time of year that I love for celebrating a wedding, Christmas.

Being a Christmas wedding was just one of the many incentives. There were many attractions that made it to become a wedding to remember for a long time, as being military wedding entirely held in the nearby Gibraltar, the ceremony being held at the Cathedral of St. Mary the Crowned or having the unique opportunity to do the photo shoot at The Convent, home of the Governor of Gibraltar, very unusual for a wedding.

I must heartily thank the efforts that my fellow, photographer and good friend Javier Alzahira had to make to travel from Cordoba to accompany us during the wedding, it was great.

We started the morning photographing Charles in the chambers from where he would live to the cathedral, we had a great time, we could notice the military roots, and so the housekeeping was noticeable to the naked eye.
Then we departed to Nadine’s family home, the poor girl was a bundle of nerves, lol … you could tell she was impatient for the ceremony to start, which was a flawless and spectacular celebration, with a chorus that made the wonders of those attending the ceremony.

Leaving the Church was entirely military-style, with the couple walking through a tunnel of sables and flowers being thrown had a spectacular picture, I love this kind of walkouts.
After the session at the Governor House we move to Gibraltar Officers Club where the celebration would take place. The place was at the height of the event, just spectacular. The cocktail and dinner was beautifully enlivened by a musical trio that played all night long, sounding great, quality through and through.
